Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud WAF, API Security)

Note: For this role, API Security experience is must.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementation and support for Web Application Firewalls (Cloud WAF)
• Onboarding of websites in Cloud WAF
• SSL Configurations
• API Discovery
• API Security Configurations
• CDN Configuration
• DDOS protection configuration
• Automation of WAF configuration and reporting
• Utilize tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, PCap, etc.) to identify and map devices on the network.

Qualifications and Skillsets:

• 5+ yrs experience in implementation and support for Cloud Web Application Firewalls (Imperva or Cloudflare)
• Knowledge of scripting / automation – Python, REST API, Bash, Terraform
• Knowledge of DNS, Routing Protocols, SSL
• Knowledge of Application Security (OWASP)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal groups (Professional Services, Engineering) as well as with customers.
• Strong communication skills, Self-starter and able to work independently, while also able to share responsibilities, ideas and other information.
